ESTEVAN - Environment Canada has cancelled the rainfall warning for Estevan and other parts of southeast Saskatchewan.
The warning, issued at 9:05 a.m. Friday, said rain, at times heavy, was expected. Fifty to 75 millimetres of rain was forecasted to fall before ending later on Friday.
The warning was lifted just before 11 a.m., although precipitation remains in the forecast for the region.
The advisory covers five RMs, including Estevan, Enniskillen, Coalfields, Moose Creek and Browning, and all of the urban municipalities and hamlets within those RMs.
