The Estevan RCMP are putting a renewed call for public assistance with a now aging file.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2014, it was discovered that tools had been taken overnight from a white Chevrolet one-tonne crew truck located on Forrest Avenue in Lampman.
Some or all of the tools have a “GWT” or “GW” marking stamped on them. An approximate value of the stolen tools is $1,500.
The RCMP are also seeking assistance with a theft that took place in Estevan.
Around March 9, a copper wire theft occurred several miles southeast of Estevan. Stolen was a 100 foot, heavy duty Tiger Brand power cable from a spool stored in a field used for storage of equipment and supplies.
The cable was a 25 kilovolt SHD-GC grade cable with orange sheathing. The value of the stolen cable was estimated to be $4,000.
Estevan RCMP is reminding the public to report any suspicious activity to police and to do their best to secure any equipment or materials when unattended.
