UPDATE: Regina police locate missing 76-year-old man

Police say the missing man has now been located

Regina Police say they have safely located, Douglas Stack, who was the subject of a previous missing persons notification.

REGINA — Update at 3:30 p.m.: Regina police say Douglas Stack has been located safe at this time, issuing a thank you to the public for their assistance in the matter.

March 16 at 2:15 p.m.: The Regina Police Service is asking for assistance from the public in locating an elderly man who left his residence yesterday. 

Douglas Stack, 76, was last seen at approximately 11 a.m. on March 15, when he left a residence in the 200 block of Sunset Drive on a blue and grey electric scooter. 

Police said they aren’t assuming Stack has come to any harm, but he is considered at risk due to his age and health. 

Stack is described as 5-8 and 180 pounds, with a medium build. He has short grey hair, brown eyes and is unshaven, wearing glasses with black frames. He is also missing a tooth on the upper left side of his mouth. 

Stack was wearing a green Saskatchewan Roughriders hat and green jacket, when he was last seen. 

Police are asking anyone with information about Stack’s whereabouts, or of a person matching this description, to contact the RPS at 1-306-777-6500, your local law enforcement agency or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
