A large front-end loader removed snow piled down the middle of Railway Avenue near Third Street on Wednesday, as part of the City of Weyburn’s efforts to clean off the streets after a heavy snowfall hit the city and area on March 5-6, with close to 10 cm of snow recorded. The crew began on the primary corridors around the city, then moved to secondary routes before crews began doing the residential streets. City officials estimated it might take a week or more to finish off all city streets.
