ESTEVAN — The Estevan Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance with a theft from a business.
According to the EPS, on Aug. 18 between 7:50 and 8 p.m., two males entered the Estevan Laundromat in the 600-block of Fourth Street, where they damaged a change machine and stole what the EPS called "a significant amount of coins". A later news release said it was about $5,000 in change. Patrol members and the Forensic Identification Unit attended and processed the scene, including video surveillance.
The EPS is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the two males at the scene.

Police were dispatched to the 500-block of Fifth Street on Aug. 19 for a domestic disturbance in progress. Members were able to mediate the situation and determined it was a verbal argument. No further police involvement was required.
Police were called to St. Joseph's Hospital in response to a male causing a disturbance. EPS members were able to refer the individual to services and no further police involvement was needed.
EPS attended to a report of suspicious persons in a vehicle in the 1400-block of First Street. Contact was made with the subjects and it was determined they had been sleeping in their vehicle while traveling, and intended to leave for their home province the next day.
A 13-year-old male was reported missing from the Willow Park Greens area. He was located a short time later and returned to his residence.
EPS members mediated a domestic disturbance reported at a residence in the central area of Estevan. Each of the parties involved committed to remain in separate areas of the residence and no further police involvement was necessary.
