ESTEVAN — The Estevan Police Service is investigating an attempted break-in at a set of mailboxes in Estevan.
According to the EPS, at approximately 5 a.m. on Aug. 15, police responded to a report of two individuals attempting to break into the set of mailboxes. The suspects were seen walking away after being unsuccessful, although one mailbox was damaged.
Police are asking residents in the area of Eva Street and Victoria Avenue to check for any surveillance footage that may assist in identifying the duo.
Police received a report Aug. 14 of a possible impaired driver A description of the vehicle and driver were provided. Officers located the vehicle at the residence of the registered owner. The matter remains under investigation.
A member of the public reported what sounded like a child screaming. Officers responded and located the source of the noise. No issues or safety concerns were found.
Police responded to a complaint about two individuals being loud outside a residential building. Upon arrival, officers did not locate anyone in the area.
