Ciera Romanow swings her loop overhead as she prepares to rope a steer’s heels in the team-roping event, during the Little Spurs Rodeo on Wednesday evening at the Weyburn exhibition grounds. Her partner Brandy holds firm to her own loop over the steer’s head. The girls team took no time on this ride. The finals for the summer series of youth rodeos will be held in the same rodeo arena on Saturday, Sept. 10, when the accumulated points from the competitions will be tallied.
