Weyburn rider Sandy Stewart rode hard around the barrel as she took part in the Ladies Barrel Racing event at the Souris River Rodeo on Friday, during the slack performance in the morning. The rodeo was held on Friday and Saturday as part of the Weyburn Fair for the first time this year, along with the midway, which was held from Thursday evening to Sunday. There was an evening performance on Friday, a performance at 2 p.m. on Saturday, plus the DQ Kids Rodeo at 9 a.m. Saturday.
