Humane Society staff Madison Rubin and Vanessa Coffey say goodbye to Ben, who was adopted recently after four years at the Humane Society animal shelter. He and seven other dogs were left at the animal shelter in a wire crate in the middle of the night in 2014. The other dogs were adopted out to new homes, but Ben took a long time before he would trust other people, and eventually met his current owner, Bryce, who was able to take him and give him a loving home.
