Southeast College was named to Saskatchewan’s Top Employer list. This special designation recognizes Saskatchewan employers that lead their respective industries as exceptional places to work.
“We are honoured and humbled to be chosen as one of Saskatchewan’s Top Thirty Employers for 2018,” said Dion McGrath, President and CEO of Southeast College.
“We have a dedicated group of employees who do exceptional work to ensure the success both for our learners and for the employers that we partner with. All of what we do starts and stops with our committed staff members. Our employees continually embrace change in the pursuit of excellence in all we do. Their desire to identify new opportunities or address issues with an unwavering focus on improving the College’s ability to serve learners, communities, and our stakeholders is impressive and the key reason why the College has earned this award.”
Employers are evaluated using a variety of criteria and are compared to other organizations in their field to determine who offers the most progressive and forward thinking employee programs.
Southeast College’s comprehensive health and family benefits, as well as its commitment to lifelong learning and health and wellness are only a few reasons why employees believe that Southeast College is a great place to work.
Employers are evaluated by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers using the same eight criteria as the national competition: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere and Social; (3) Health, Financial and Family Benefits; (4) Vacation and Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training and Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.
