In the last couple of days, police received several reports of domestic issues.

On April 1, Estevan Police Service (EPS) members attended to a residence on the north side of the city after a complaint of a woman causing a disturbance. As a result of the incident, a 25-year-old Estevan woman was arrested.

She is now facing two charges of uttering threats to cause bodily harm, two charges of assault of a police officer, one charge of mischief and failing to comply with a probation order and an allegation of failing to comply with a conditional sentence order. She was scheduled to appear in court later this week. No details were immediately available.

The same day, officers responded to a complaint of a domestic disturbance in the Willow Park Greens area. A 34-year-old man from Lampman was arrested as a result. He was lodged in cells and appeared before a judge later this week to answer to charges of assault, mischief and two counts of failing to comply with a release document.

Another call came in on April 2. A 22-year-old Estevan man was arrested and charged with assault as a result of a domestic complaint. He was released with conditions and will appear in court at a later date.

In other recent police news, on April 2, members arrested a 26-year-old Estevan man for obstruction after a traffic stop in the Grundeen area. The man was lodged in cells and was released when sober for court in July.

Police also responded to a disturbance call early in the morning. Members attended and were able to mediate the situation.

Police also attended to an east side business after a report of someone breaching release conditions. The matter is still under investigation
