The severe thunderstorm warning for the Estevan area has been lifted.
Environment Canada issued the warning at 1:26 p.m., stating that meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
The warning was lifted at 2:02 p.m.
There is still a risk of thunderstorms in the forecast for the Estevan area this afternoon.
A heat warning remains in effect for the Estevan area, and a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the Carlyle area.
