Employees of the Southern Plains Co-op in Carlyle served up a delicious pancake breakfast for Manor School on Monday, Oct. 30. The idea for the pancake breakfast originated with a Branding Committee being formed by the Southern Plains Co-op and each of their stores. “Decia Knockhaert is the main coordinator of this event and there’s several other volunteers from the store that came to help today,” Derrick Edwards – Carlyle Branch Manager – explained.
“If you’ve got something in your community that we might be able to help with, come talk to us at the Southern Plains Co-op, maybe we can lend a hand,” Derrick Edwards – Carlyle Branch Manager – stated. Next month they plan to do something in Arcola School and they are currently in talks with Carlyle Elementary School to help with something there as well.
