Law enforcement across the province issued more than 750 tickets as part of a two-day traffic safety blitz targeting aggressive driving, with half of the tickets issued for speeding.
Operation Fall Frenzy took place province-wide on Thursday, October 10 and Friday, October 11 resulting in a total of 756 tickets.
Over the two day blitz, 378 speeding violations, 71 seatbelt violations, 31 tickets for failing to stop at stop sign/red light, 23 distracted driving violations, six alcohol-related charges, and 247 various other charges were issued.
September's traffic safety blitz, Operation Student Safety, focused on school zone safety and resulted in a total of 835 tickets.
