Drug fair

Macy Cugnet spun a blindfolded student as her partner Jenai Lokken, at right, watched, before giving the student information about the dangerous drug of fentanyl, during the Grade 9 Drug Information Fair on Thursday at the Cugnet Centre. Six classes of Grade 9 students had about 60 exhibits on drugs and alcohol, showing the dangers and effects on the body, with many including hands-on interactive aspects to help students to learn. The girls explained in their display both the medicinal and dangerous uses of the deadly drug, and the blindfolded demonstration was to help simulate the confusion that the drug causes.
