Estevan Emergency Medical Services (EMS) was out in the community with its annual Spooky Ambulance for Halloween on Saturday.
While they couldn’t decorate the ambulance and open it up for children to enter this year, the ambulance was still out and about in the community to hand out candy to kids.
This year’s decorations on the ambulance paid homage to the classic comedy Ghostbusters, with the Ghostbusters logo on the front hood and the doors, and the ECTO-1 name of the Ghostbusters vehicle on the back of the ambulance.
A video posted to the Estevan EMS Facebook page showed the ECTO-1 ambulance being dispatched from the hospital and heading out into the community.
The ambulance went throughout the city, travelling down Nicholson Road, Albert Street, Spruce Drive, Third Street and other roads in Estevan.
Steven Raymond and Winston Hunt from Estevan EMS took the lead on the project.
Clifton’s No Frills supplied the candy for the ambulance.
