The excitement is growing for the Craven Country Jamboree. Right now, there is a province-wide promotion being held, where people have a chance to ‘Spot the Craven Hat’ to win great prizes.
“We are going around the province and visiting different places with this contest. If someone sees us in their community, and come up and start talking to us, they can win prizes such as merchandise, tickets, and meet-and-greet opportunities,” said Kim Blevins during a stop in Weyburn on Friday.
“Every community that we visit we are hiding a prize somewhere. We have clues posted all over our @ccjsask SnapChat, Twitter and Instagram,” said Blevins.
The Craven Country Jamboree will take centre stage July 14-17 with a strong list of entertainers. Headlining the three nights of entertainment will be the Zac Brown Band on July 15, Alabama on July 16 and Eric Church on July 17.
Other acts scheduled to appear are Kacey Musgraves, Petric, Marty Stuart, The Kentucky Headhunters, Chase Bryant, Chris Young and many more.
Tickets for all four days of the extravaganza cost $205 while individual day passes are priced at $100 each. Children who are 12 and under and are accompanied by a valid ticket holder will be admitted to the event free of charge.
Blevins noted that this is the first time that the Craven Country Jamboree has offered individual day passes.
“The Craven Country Jamboree weekend is created for Saskatchewan, it is for Saskatchewan people, and we are excited for another great year.”
Camping sites are available, but those are generally scooped up pretty early. More information on camping sites and ticket availability can be obtained going online to the Country Jamboree website.
