The Saskatchewan Health Authority has made walk-in COVID testing available in Weyburn, with a “Stop, Swab and Go” centre.

The testing site is located at 1623 First Avenue, and is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 12:30-3 p.m., with no appointment or referral needed.

Those coming for a test are asked to bring their Saskatchewan Health card.

When arriving at the location, drive up to the Stop sign and follow the instructions displayed.

If someone wants a referral time, they can call the 811 Health line for an appointment time.

The health authority had formerly asked people with symptoms to wait 48 hours for a test, but that was recently changed, and people are asked to get tested immediately in the event of any symptoms appearing.
