The February month end supper at the Wheatland Senior Centre will be held on Friday, February 26. There will be oven fried chicken served.
The Wheatland Centre’s annual general meeting will follow the supper.
The results of activities from February 1 to 7 include: Winning bridge on Monday was Lucie Nickel in first, Erskine Sandiford took second and Mildred Sandiford took third. Winning bridge on Friday was John Whitell in first, Jim Brown took second and Andy Dumba won third.
During trump whist, Roger Marcotte took first, Connie Boucher finished second and tying for third was Susan Heaman and Ray Boucher. Taking first in hi-low whist was Basil Holyer and Tom Schutz, followed by Jim and Marion Brown in second, and there was a three-way tie for third place between the teams of Roger and Marie Marcotte, Connie and Ray Boucher, and Norma Lohse and Lorraine Tytlandsvik.
During canasta, Eveline Porte took first, Gerry Thompson placed second and Margaret Warnke finished in third place. Winning first in kaiser was Jean Knibbs and Chris Diemert. There was a tie for second between Roger and Marie Marcotte, and Tom Schutz and Joe Stefaniuk.
Winning the Thursday crib game was June Matters and Carol Spencer in first place, Cris Herlick and Phyllis Lindskog took second and Hilda Rohloff and Norma Lohse placed third. The Fun Crib game was won by Herb Grams in first, Phyllis Lindskog took second and Ray Boucher finished in third.
The shuffleboard game was won by Roger Marcotte and Coral Schindel in first place, Melba Bent and Ray Boucher took second and Joan Carlson and Tom Schutz won third.
