Committee members of Habitat for Humanity, dignitaries, and business sponsors gather around Angie Dunn and her two children, Teagan and Stewart (Stuey), as they break ground on the construction site for Weyburn's first-ever Habitat for Humanity home. A ceremony was held on Wednesday afternoon at the Habitat for Humanity location at 412 Victoria Street. Construction will occur this spring, and the goal is to have the family completely moved in by Christmas time. Anyone who wants to volunteer for the project, either by offering building expertise or by bringing over snacks for the contractors, are encouraged to contact Winston Bailey, chair of Weyburn's Habitat for Humanity for more information. Watch for the June 11 edition of the Weyburn Review for the full story.
