ESTEVAN - There are 10 more cases of COVID-19 to report in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan, according to the provincial COVID-19 dashboard.
After one recovery, 60 cases of COVID-19 in Zone 4 are now considered active.
There are also six new cases in South East Zone 2, which is to the north of Estevan’s zone, and one new case in South East Zone 3, which includes Weyburn.
With a total of two recoveries, the South East region has 89 active cases. Two people are in the hospital receiving inpatient care.
Saskatchewan reported 141 new cases. After 28 recoveries 793 cases are considered active. Sixty-nine people are hospitalized.
There were 131 tests processed in the South East on Aug. 11, which brings the total for the region to 54,282 tests.
And another 210 doses of vaccine have been administered in the South East. A total of 97,134 doses were administered in the region, and 45,623 people are fully vaccinated.
