Thirteen new cases of COVID-19 in the southeast, but none in Estevan's zone

There are 112 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Nov. 11, bringing the provincial total to date to 4,326 cases. Thirteen new cases have been reported in the southeast.

There are 112 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Nov. 11, bringing the provincial total to date to 4,326 cases. 

Thirteen new cases have been reported in the southeast. None of the new cases are in Southeast Zone 4, which includes Estevan.

There are 12 new cases in Southeast Zone 1, which is to the northwest of Zone 4, and one new cases is in Zone 2, to the north of Zone 4.

There are currently 55 active cases in the southeast region. Eighteen of them are in Zone 4.

Ninety-one cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in the southeast in the past eight months.

Thirty-seven of the new cases for Nov. 11 are in the Regina region and 29 are from the Saskatoon region. There are also 11 for the south central, eight in the far northeast, seven in the far northwest, three in the central east, and one each for the northwest and north central.

Two new cases have pending residence information. One case with pending residence information previously reported on Nov. 8 has been assigned to the north central zone.

Of the 4,326 reported cases, 1,363, or 31.5 per cent, are considered active. 

Fifty-four more people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,934, or 67.8 per cent.

Forty-eight people are in hospital. Thirty-seven people are receiving inpatient care; one in the far northwest, two in the northwest, six in the north central, three in the northeast, 22 in Saskatoon and three in the Regina zone.  Eleven people are in intensive care; two in the north central, six in Saskatoon, one in the central east and two in Regina.

Twenty-nine people have died from COVID-19 in Saskatchewan to date. 

A total of 1,363 COVID-19 tests were processed in Saskatchewan on Nov. 10.
