Three people have been arrested following an armed robbery in Estevan on Sunday.
The Estevan Police Service (EPS) was notified of the incident, which occurred at the Royal Heights Esso in west Estevan. A woman was reported to have entered the store while brandishing a knife, and demanded cash. She fled the scene in a vehicle.
The vehicle was intercepted and a high-risk traffic stop was initiated by police on Nicholson Road.
As a result of the investigation, three Estevan residents were arrested and are being charged. Ashley Glydon, 27, and Dakota Jaworski, 25, have been charged with armed robbery and breaching the conditions of a previous release. Evan Kallis, 25, is also facing a charge of armed robbery. All three appeared in court on Monday morning.
A search of a Pleasantdale residence was authorized by the court in connection with the robbery. The investigation is ongoing.
