Town receives top marks for Waterworks Compliance Inspection

            Carlyle Town Council held their regular meeting Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Carlyle Civic Centre. Council's next meeting will take place at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 7 at the Civic Centre.

            Waterworks

            The Town of Carlyle received grades of “very good” during the province's annual Waterworks Compliance Inspection, with the facility's operations and records singled out for praise.

            Audit

            The Town of Carlyle's 2017 audit has been completed by Cogent Chartered Professional Accountants LLP and was found to be satisfactory, with a final report to come.

            Bear Claw Community Development Corporation

            The Town received notice that the Bear Claw Community Development Corporation has received funding and will be accepting applications for funding both new and continuing projects from non-profit groups and agencies from: Ochapowace, White Bear, the Village of Kenosee Lake, Carlyle, Manor and the R.M. of Moose Mountain No. 63. Applications are avaiable at the Town of Carlyle office.

            RCMP Town Hall

            The Carlyle RCMP detachment will be hosting a Town Hall meeting, 6:30 p.m.,Tuesday, March 6 at the Carlyle Memorial Hall. This meeting is open to everyone and the discussion will focus on policing priorities in the community.
