Two local hotels are the recipients of the Employer of Choice Award.
The Weyburn Ramada and Canalta hotels were both recipients of the 2015 award which sees 25 organizations across the province designated with this award.
"Excellence in human resources in the tourism sector leads to memorable visitor experiences," Jeremy Harrison, Minister for Tourism Saskatchewan said. "This year's Employers of Choice designation recipients help grow our strong tourism sector by attracting and retailing the best and brightest who deliver the exceptional, warm, friendly, guest experiences that our province is known for."
The award, which began in 2010, is awarded by Tourism Saskatchewan. Employers earn the Employer of Choice Award for leadership and commitment to best practices in human resources.
Registrations for the award are accepted from May 1 until November 30 each year, with successful applicants being awarded early the following year.
