There are two more COVID-19 cases to report in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan, according to information on the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s COVID-19 dashboard.
Those two new cases were offset by two more recoveries, leaving the active case count for Zone 4 at 49.
There is also one new case in South East Zone 2, which is north of Zone 4.
The South East region now has 77 active cases. Seven more people have recovered. Three people are receiving inpatient care in hospital. The number of hospitalizations in the South East is up two from Aug. 8.
Across the province, there are 54 new cases, and 650 active cases. Fifty-five people are in hospital, and 62 more people have recovered.
A total of 1,122 tests were processed on Aug. 8, including 29 in the South East.
And 1,197 more doses were reported, with 51 from the South East.
