As part of windstorm cleanup services, the City of Weyburn landfill will be accepting trees and branches at no cost starting Jan. 14 until the end of the day on Jan. 22.
The City is responsible for cleanup of city-owned trees and crews will be working throughout the coming days on removing hazards along streets and sidewalks. Residents are responsible for any damage to home-owned trees.
Please do not put branches into city garbage bins. If residents need assistance in removal or disposal of trees and branches, there are various local businesses or organizations to contact for this work.
