A 15-year-old boy from Regina who went missing in Duck Lake Provincial Park has been found dead.
Shortly before noon Tuesday, searchers located Jaxon MacDonald of Regina on an island on Madge Lake, which is located within Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The RCMP will not be releasing any further details at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
A press release was sent out just after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
He was last seen leaving a residence/cottage on foot in the Jubilee Subdivision area of Duck Mountain Provincial Park around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. His destination was a residence/cottage in the same subdivision, not far away.
