Update: The affected area of Sixth Street is now open again.
The City of Estevan said earlier Friday that traffic would be affected on Sixth Street from 13th Avenue to 12th Avenue, commencing at 9 a.m. for saw cutting, in preparation for asphalt patching.
Eastbound traffic was to be closed, and westbound traffic would have the speed reduced to 30 kilometres per hour.
The public is requested to use caution and obey all traffic signage when travelling in the construction zone.
