Humboldt vigil

Former Red Wings chaplain James Brackpool, at right, spoke after 16 candles were lit in memory of the 15 victims of the bus crash involving the Humboldt Broncos on Friday, plus one for the survivors of the crash and the First Responders to the accident scene. This was part of the vigil held on Sunday evening at Crescent Point Place in support of the Humboldt Broncos and that community where a nationally-televised vigil was held at the same time. Representatives of the Red Wings spoke, and a book of condolences was available for people to sign in the lobby. Envision Counselling and members of the Ministerial Association were on hand as well to provide counselling support to anyone who wanted it.
