The Weyburn Comprehensive School cheer squad is getting ready for their "Cheer for a Cure" event. The event will be held on Friday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 28 at the school.
The Weyburn Comprehensive School cheer squad is getting ready for their "Cheer for a Cure" event. The event will be held on Friday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 28 at the school.
The WCS senior boys and girls basketball teams are also preparing themselves for tournaments over the weekend. On Saturday the girls go to play in North Battleford while the boys will be competing in Estevan.
The University of Regina Cougars and Minot State Beavers held an exhibition wrestling match at the school last week.
There was a presentation made to a couple of WCS teams by the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association on Tuesday.
Last week the students started new classes and are well into their second semester. Along with classes, basketball, curling, and wrestling are also back in full swing.
