Between Feb. 15 and Feb. 21 the Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP responded to 50 calls.
On Feb. 15 there was a false alarm call at a business in Kenosee Lake. An employee was on site and called RCMP immediately to let them they were not needed.
A two vehicle collision at the intersection of Carlyle Motor Products and the Co-op with Highway 9 was responded to. The Carlyle Fire Department and EMS also responded. One male suffered minor injuries and no one else was injured. A 65-year-old male was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
A complaint of theft in the Parkman area was reported. A fuel pump was stolen from a rural location.
There was a complaint of theft from a business in Carlyle. The call was regarding shop lifting and no charges are to be laid at this time.
There was a 911 call to a residence in the Carlyle area. RCMP was told it was a disturbance between two adults. The matter was resolved without charges.
There was a complaint of a hit and run received from Redvers. The vehicle was damaged while parked. At this time RCMP have not identified a suspect vehicle.
A 911 call from Manor was received. RCMP determined there was no emergency and that it was children playing with the phone.
A call reporting a person in Carlyle who was improperly dressed for the weather and acting strange was received. Members located the individual and took the person to safety.
A 48-year-old male was arrested along Highway 13 near Carlyle for impaired driving. The male will face criminal charges.
On Feb. 16 a Redvers business reported intoxicated persons fighting. The fight ended prior to RCMP arrival and subjects were not identified.
A person uttering threats to harm others in Wawota was reported. The RCMP attended and determined there was alcohol involved. The suspect was now with family, however, and no further action had to be taken.
A collision near Forget on Highway 13 was reported. RCMP attended and upon arrival found two subjects on the scene. A 28-year-old female was charged with a liquor related offence. The collision itself is still under investigation.
A complaint was filed concerning someone having struck a deer on the highway near Manor. Members attended and had to put the deer down.
RCMP investigated the report of someone receiving harassing phone calls. It was discovered that no offence had taken place and that it was a collection agency making the calls.
On Feb. 17 members located a vehicle that had been reported as stolen. The vehicle had been involved in a collision and the matter is under investigation.
On Feb. 18 an alarm at a business in Arcola was responded to. The building was cleared and there were no signs of forced entry or theft. RCMP determined the alarm to be false.
RCMP were called to a single vehicle rollover. A 41-year-old male was arrested at the scene for impaired driving. The male was not injured and will be facing criminal charges in court.
There was a rollover reported in the Kisbey area. A single vehicle was involved and the driver was not injured. It does not appear at this time that charges will be laid.
There was another rollover responded to at Manor along Highway 13. Occupants were not injured and the road conditions are believed to have been a factor.
Members attended a rollover at Arcola on Highway 13. A single vehicle was involved and the driver was not injured.
RCMP were called to Wawota as someone reported witnessing suspects attempting to break into a residence. Members attended and it was determined there was no emergency.
A false alarm at a business in Carlyle was responded to by RCMP who determined there was no emergency.
On Feb. 19 there was a collision on Highway 13 near Forget. There was a single vehicle rollover and no injuries reported. The icy roads were a contributing factor.
There was a 911 call made from a Carlyle residence. RCMP were able to determine there was no emergency and it was an accidental misdial.
There was a single vehicle rollover near Forget on Highway 13. The Fire Department and EMS also attended. There were minor injuries reported and the matter is still under investigation.
On Feb. 20 the RCMP were called to an assault at a residence in the Carlyle area. RCMP attended and spoke to subjects at the scene. No one was injured and no information was provided about the assault. No charges have been laid at this time.
There was a single vehicle rollover reported near Forget on Highway 13. No one was injured and charges are not to be laid.
RCMP received a call concerning a vehicle parked along Highway 13 near Carlyle. The caller was worried the vehicle was a road hazard as it was partially parked on the driving lane of the highway. The truck was moved from the location.
Members responded to an alarm at a business in Manor. A key holder assisted RCMP in checking the building. No crime had been committed and the alarm was determined to be false.
There was a two vehicle collision which was minor in nature with no injuries that the RCMP attended.
RCMP received a report of theft from a residence in Carlyle. Money was stolen from the residence and the matter is under investigation.
A false 911 call was received from a residence in Wawota. RCMP determined the occupant of the residence was confused and ensured there was no emergency.
There was a complaint of fraud on someone's bank account reported. The complainant was notified by their financial institute of unlawful transactions. RCMP are continuing their investigation.
On Feb. 21 RCMP were called to a residence in the Carlyle area. Subjects were fighting and RCMP attended. No one was injured and no weapons were used. The subjects were intoxicated. Members separated the subjects and no charges are to be laid at this time.
Members were called to an incident concerning a semi forcing another vehicle off of the road. This happened on Highway 13 near Kisbey. No one was injured and snow drifts are thought to be a contributing factor. Both drivers were contacted and interviewed. There are no charges to be laid at this time.
RCMP were called to a collision near Manor. A vehicle ran into the back of a tractor on the roadway. A 32-year-old male was charged with undue care and attention.
There were reports of an erratic driver on Highway 13 near Manor. Patrols were made but the vehicle was not located.
RCMP were called to a residence in the Carlyle area where an intoxicated male was causing a disturbance. The 50-year-old male was arrested and removed from the property. Members noticed the male was suffering of a health issue and he was taken to the hospital for a medical emergency. No charges are to be laid at this time.
