The Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 71 calls of service between Friday, May 2 and Thursday, May 8. 911 Calls A call was received from Wawota but it was found to be a malfunctioning static line.

The Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 71 calls of service between Friday, May 2 and Thursday, May 8.

911 Calls

A call was received from Wawota but it was found to be a malfunctioning static line. There was also a call from Redvers which turned out to be children playing with the phone. There were two other calls from within the local area, one was a complaint about a disturbance and the other was about a possible gas leak.

Assistance

The local detachment assisted the Regina police service in searching for an individual.There was a call for assistance to the public in an area in Carlyle where people were said to be drinking in public.A request for assistance was made in dealing with a 14-year-old female in Kisbey.An individual requested assistance with the mental act in the local area.Assistance was given to the EMS in dealing with the mental act in Redvers.Assistance was given to the Fillmore detachment in dealing with a mental health individual in Stoughton. The detachment provided assistance to the CN Police as a crossing was found to be activated.

Abandoned Vehicle

An abandoned vehicle was reported in Arcola. Checks were made and it was discovered the vehicle was being towed.

False AlarmThere were two reports of false alarm at businesses in Pheasant Rump. The first is believed to be caused by a mouse and the second by an employee.

Impaired DrivingWithin the local area there were six reports of possible impaired driving. Checks were made with the first three but the vehicles were not located. The others involved a 33-year-old female who was subsequently charged. While a 30-year- old male was also charged for impaired driving and a 58-year- old male was charged with driving with .08 alcohol level and impaired operation of a vehicle.

Traffic Infractions

A $230 stop sign ticket was issued to 40-year-old male near Carlyle.Near Forget a $175 speeding ticket was issued to a 47-year-old male. A 41- year-old male was fined $192 in Carlyle for speeding. A 48-year-old male was fined $139 near Manor for speeding.Near Carlyle a 55-year-old female was fined $130 for speeding.A 25-year-old male was fined $138 near Arcola for speeding. Near Carlyle a 32-year-old female was fined $137 for speeding.Near Wawota, a 40-year-old female was fined $200 for speeding.A 27-year-old male near Manor was fined $134 for speeding.Near Redvers a 22-year-old female was fined $150 for speeding.A 20-year-old male near Arcola was fined $135 dollars for speeding.In the local area there was a report of a vehicle passing a school bus. The complainant declined to lay charges.

TheftThere was a report of theft from a vehicle in Arcola. In the local area there was a report of at theft where prescription medication was taken away from a home while the complainant was away.There was a report of a stolen vehicle in the local area. The matter is currently under investigation.

RobberyThere was a report of a possible robbery in Carlyle. Checks were made but the culprit was not located.

Break and Enter

In the local area there was a report of a break and enter which is currently under investigation.

Sudden DeathIn Redvers there was a report of a 62-year-old male who passed away. Assistance was provided and there was nothing suspicious found.

Warrants

A warrant was issued for a 22-year-old male who failed to attend court in Carlyle. Similar warrants were issued to a 42-year-old female and a 38-year-old male. A 26-year-old male was also charged for failing to attend court

Fraud

There was a report of attempted fraud in Redvers. An elderly female received a call from someone posing as the police demanding credit card information to install security cameras.

Fire

There were five reports of forest fires in the local area.

Mischief

There was a report of mischief in the local area involving individuals yelling. Checks were made but no charges were laid.There was a noise complaint in Arcola where loud music was being played at a residence. The individuals were spoken to and the music was turned down.

Other Calls

In Carlyle a warning ticket was issued to an individual for not wearing a seat belt.In Manor a 15-year-old female was charged $175 for not wearing a seatbelt.In Carlyle a 58-year-old male was charged for failing to dim their headlights. A call was received from Arcola regarding a property dispute. The complainant was referred to the civil process for it to be resolved.A $580 ticket was issued to a 40-year-old female near Wawota for driving an unregistered vehicle. A traffic collision occurred near Kisbey where a single vehicle went into a ditch. There were no injuries but a 58 and 50-year-old male was charged for being intoxicated in a public place.A traffic collision occurred in Carlyle, the vehicle involved backed into another vehicle. There were no injuries and the drivers were referred to SGI.In Arcola there was a complaint of harassing phone calls. The matter is under investigation. An i-Phone 5 was turned in at the detachment and returned to the owner.There was a report of a possible suicidal individual in the local area. Checks were made and it was found to be false.There was a complaint about someone who might be drunk in the local area. Checks were made and it was found to be false.A $360 liquor ticket was issued to a 26-year-old male in Wawota after alcohol was found in their motor vehicle.There was a report of a suspicious person in Redvers, checks were made but they were not located.
