Thanks to all the players and coaches for a great season and to the parents who supported them over the winter.

The badminton has already begun its season. Track and field will begin practicing in the near future.

Readings of the play 'Urinetown' have been done and serious practices start this week. Patrons are reminded that once you get by the title, you will witness a great musical with catchy tunes, eight production numbers and a serious look at how big business and governments are taking over even the most personal parts of our lives. It is a call for the people to be very wary of big brother, greed and the lack of common sense on the part of the some people in a society. There is love, romance and sadness along with the over-riding theme within the play. Plan to attend and enjoy a fine production that continues the tradition of WCS musicals. For a sneak peak and a great meal, plan to attend the Rotary Dinner Theater on May 3 prior to the public performances that start on May 5. Tickets will go on sale on April 9.

On March 26, grad re-takes will be done.

The school year for 2013/14 has been determined for the Southeast Cornerstone School Division but there is a pending application for the Weyburn Comprehensive School to have one more shortened school year for re-modeling. Students and parents will be notified when a decision has been made by the Department of Learning.
