The annual Fall Fowl Supper, touted as the 'best darn meal in Weyburn' will be held on November 27 at Weyburn Comprehensive School. This event, which has become a community favourite over the years, will once again feature fine food, great entertainment and an opportunity to get together for the last fowl supper of the season. Entertainment will begin in the gymnasium at 4:30 and serving will start at 5:00 p.m.
Because of renovations to the library and construction, every guest is asked to enter the school on the west end (gym entrance) and proceed to the gym to be entertained until their number is called. Please do not try and enter the school through any other doors.
Food is proved by students and their parents along with turkey donations from the community. It is hoped to serve between 600 to 700 guests.
The girls' volleyball team was unable to capture a medal at this year's provincial volleyball championship but they did have a good year. Basketball is now underway with the teams being chosen this week.
