(Submitted) - In sports, the season has ended for the junior girls' volleyball team. The senior teams are in their last tournaments of the year in Virden for the girls and Yorkton for the boys on November 7 and 8. Both teams are off to regionals on November 14 and 15, with the girls in Moose Jaw and the boys in Swift Current. The top three teams in each region will advance to provincials the following weekend.
Sixty students went to Regina on Tuesday, November 4, to the "See Your Future" fair at Queensbury Downs, Evarez Place.
Just a reminder to mark Tuesday, November 25 on your calendar as the annual WCS Fowl Supper will be held on that date. The logistics of the supper in the new Cugnet Centre are still being worked out but with a lot larger facility, we feel that we can handle everyone who wants to come. The cost will be $12.00 for a ticket, with children under six free.
