This weekend the junior girls' basketball team will be in Fillmore and the senior girls in Caronport for tournaments. The senior boys are hosting a small tournament. The curling teams will be hosting a bonspiel.
Tickets are on sale now at the school office for the band concert on December 12 and the choral concerts on December 17 and 18. Tickets are $5 each. The choral concerts will be the same on the two nights.
A very successful fowl supper was held last Tuesday with the SRC serving nearly 600 people.
"A great big thank-you to all who attended, all the staff and students, the parents who supplied the food, the volunteer carvers and all the local business and clubs that donated turkeys," said Bob King, Activities Director at WCS. "This event helps to raise money for the more than $50,000 that is required each year to run the SRC athletic teams, SRC dances, speakers, the various clubs, leadership training and all the other activities that take place during the year."
