The Weyburn Fire Department, Weyburn Police Service, Weyburn EMS and CP Rail police responded to a collision of a train with the end of a trailer at the Queen Street crossing on Thursday afternoon just off Highway 39.
A semi was pulling a long flatbed trailer, and the train clipped the end of the trailer, causing some of its load to end up in the ditch.
The fire fighters and police helped keep the traffic flowing on Highway 39 as emergency crews worked on clearing the scene.
The train was held up at the scene as the CP police investigated the scene. It was not known if anyone was injured in the collision.
