Over the past weekend, four citizens reported their vehicles vandalized to Weyburn Police Services. Incidents of vandalism occurred near 5th and 1st Avenues, Government Road and on South Hill.
Police received three reports of vehicle tires being slashed and/or punctured on August 27. Two incidents occurred on South hill while the other was on Windsor Street.
On the same night, unknown individual(s) took a fire extinguisher from a local apartment building and sprayed numerous vehicles with it.

On August 25, Weyburn City Police bicycle patrol arrested and charged a 19-year-old male under section 4(1) of the Control Drugs & Substance Act for unlawfully possessing the controlled substance of cocaine. He will appear in court later this month.
Police attended a domestic dispute between a 24 year old male and his 23 year old female partner. Police assisted the couple with their problems and left the scene without further incident.
Earlier this week, police also attended a local store in regard to a fraud in progress. As a result, a 45-year-old female was arrested after trying to cash an illegitimate cheque. Investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending.
