Weyburn Police Chief Marlo Pritchard signed the memorandum (MOU) of understanding with the Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers (SARSAV), as SARSAV president Bobbi-Jean Buchanan looked at right. Standing behind Chief Pritchard are Chief Richard Bourassa, Moose Jaw Police Service; Chief Jason Mochoruk, Luseland Police Service; and Chief Warren Gherasim, Corman Park Police Service. Chief Pritchard is president of the Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police, and he was hosting the provincial convention for the association in Weyburn at McKenna Hall on April 30. The MOU sets out an agreement for municipal police forces to call out search-and-rescue volunteers as they are needed.
