The Salvation Army will be accepting donations of household goods and clothing, starting on Thursday, June 11.

The Salvation Army staff are asking that the public not leave donations outside. Use the drop bin or ring the bell during business hours, which will be Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the time being.

There is a limit to the amount of donations being dropped off, as they will only be able to accept three bags or boxes per household per day.

“This is to ensure we can properly disinfect and sanitize all donations,” said Jennifer Lorinczy, community ministries coordinator.

The Thrift Store will remain closed for now, but there will be an announcement on the Salvation Army’s plan to re-open the store soon.
