Weyburn was hit with blowing and drifting snow on Monday, with winds up to 70 kilometres an hour whipping up snow causing zero visibility at times on area highways. Travel was not recommended on area highways, and the storm was followed by cold temperatures, solidifying winter’s grip on the region.
