The sixth annual edition of Flavours of Fall Food and Beverage Expo is set to roll on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Exhibition Hall, starting at 8 p.m.

Danielle Wildfong sees a lot of farmers struggling with mental health, and she wants to do something about it.

The preschool's 32 kids were asked why they are thankful. The kids gave an answer and had their photo taken, and the answers, sponsored by local businesses, are spread throughout this week's edition of the Mercury.

A number of special activities and events are scheduled for Culture Days on Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Credit Union Spark Centre, and an artist's reception on Oct. 6.

The public should not be alarmed by the higher police presence in the area.

Spruce Ridge School has been granted permission to extend naming rights to Tundra Oil and Gas to recognize the company's contribution to the construction and opening of the school's outdoor amphitheatre, the only one in the South East Cornerstone Public School Division.

Nominations are now open for Southeast Oilperson of the Year and Southeast Saskatchewan Legends Awards, and will close on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023.

Officers were also called about a couple of potential frauds on Tuesday.

Construction is expected to continue until freeze-up, with major construction activities resuming by spring 2024.
