The Weyburn Minor Baseball Association had its annual awards night on Sept. 17. Players from all divisions were presented with year-end awards at McKenna Hall. The Eugene Emberley award was presented to Jeff Nikolejsin.

The Eugene Emberley award was presented to Jeff Nikolejsin. The Mel Bisset award was presented to Alexis Larson. Both annual awards recognize a player that combines sportsmanship, ability, courteous conduct and academic standing.
For the minnie and mites girls division, the most dedicated players were Megan Ebel, Paige Eden and Riley Schultz. For the Micky Mouse boys division, the most dedicated players were Quinlan Buckingham and Brasen Sim.
For the two house teams in the squirt girls division, the most dedicated players went to Jayda Boren on Team A and Chantal Vogel on Team B. For the traveling squirt team, the most valuable player was Krista Smith, the most improved player was Paige Fellner, the most sportsmanlike player was Kennedy Glover and the team spirit award was presented to Abbey Johnson.
For the mosquito boys division, the most dedicated player awards went to Owen Peterson on the Weyburn Reds and Gregg Wiens on the Weyburn Blue Jays. For the mosquito AAA Beavers, the most valuable player was Aiden Krafchuk, the most improved player was Jayke Smolinski, the most sportsmanlike player was Mason Muxlow and the team spirit award was presented to Ty Nikolejsin.
In the peewee girls division, the most dedicated players were Ashley Culham and Erica Robertson.
For the peewee girls traveling team, the most valuable player was Chelsey Rogal, the most improved player was Kristen Perras, the most sportsmanlike player was Kelsie Stickelmier and the team spirit award was presented to Zoe Douglas.
In the peewee boys division, the most dedicated players awards went to Kyler Douglas on the Blue Team and Carson Colquhoun on the Red Team. For the peewee AAA Beavers, the most valuable player was Ryan Gaab, the most improved player was Tristyn DeRoose, the most sportsmanlike player was Wyatt Arndt and the team spirit award was presented to Rhett Nikolejsin.
For the bantam and midget girls house teams, the most dedicated players were Silkyn Mack and Taylor Juravle. For the bantam and midget girls traveling team, the most valuable player was Ashlee Sandiford, the most improved player was Alex Ripplinger, the most sportsmanlike player was Kristina Ness and the team spirit award was presented to Jillian Diede.
For the bantam boys division, the most dedicated players were Rylan Kolke, Dylan Neilson and Austin Neiszner. For the midget a Beavers boys division, the most dedicated player was Cody Robertson.
For the midget AA Q-Max Athletics, the most valuable player was Tyler Corbin, the most improved player was Tyson Hislop and the most sportsmanlike player was Colton Klassen.
The most dedicated umpire awards were presented to Kyle Frison in the senior category and Carter Sorenson in the junior category. The Builders Block Award was presented to Laurie Walbaum.
