Well after some well earned time off from hockey the team is back in the rink. After some practice and a couple of exhibition games the Carlyle Cougars Pee Wee’s played their first two regular season games against Wawota, first in Carlyle where we came out with a victory (11 goals for Carlyle; Wawota 5 goals) and then in Wawota where we managed to squeak in a tie (8 goals).
Goal tending for the win was Zane Winter and battling to keep his team with a tie was Logan Romaniuk.
When the team was passing and digging we did very well, however, the team came out flat too many times to ensure a second victory.
