DeLaet started the first round with a successful front nine. He shot birdies on holes one, six and eight, with only one bogey on hole nine to shot a 33, two-under-par for the front nine. However, in the back nine, he shot bogeys on holes 12 and 17, and had a double bogey on hole 16. DeLaet ended at 72, two-over-par.
Starting on the back nine for round two, DeLaet shot bogeys on holes 10, 16 and 18, and only had one birdie on hole 17. Then in the front nine, he shot a bogey on hole one and a birdie on hole five. DeLaet ended with another 72, two-over-par.
The next tournament for DeLaet will be the Travelers Championship, which will be held from June 21 to 24.
