ESTEVAN - the Estevan TS&M U15 AA Bruins wrapped up their season on April 5 with their year-end banquet and awards night.
Forward Gunner Moore and goaltender Jaxon Kuchinka shared the team’s MVP award. Moore was their top scorer with 28 goals and 56 points in 29 games.
Kuchinka had a 5.28 goals against average and a .862 save percentage in 20 games, often facing at least 40 shots in a game.
Other award winners were:
- Boston Tait won the team’s rookie of the year, and he shared the Mike Sarada Memorial hardest working player award with Austin Sawatsky.
- Sawatsky and Quintin Sliva shared the most improved player award;
- Raif Henrion won the Colby Award; and
- Tucker Laurent was named the team’s top defensive player.
