The Estevan Legion Track and Field Club sent four members to the Saskatchewan Athletics provincial track championship on the weekend in Regina.
William Chamney, Kristina Chamney, Eric Dryden and Keena McKnight competed at the meet.
William Chamney, Dryden and McKnight were invited to join the midget provincial team that will travel to Medicine Hat July 14-15 to participate in a provincial tri-meet involving athletes from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Dryden will not be able to attend due to prior commitments.
William Chamney led the group at provincials with four top-four finishes, including two silver medals.
In the midget boys' division, Chamney was second in the 200-metre final with a time of 24.99 seconds, and in the high jump competition with a leap of 1.71 metres.
Chamney was also third in javelin with a throw of 29.60 metres, and fourth in the 100-metre final with a time of 12.24 seconds.
Kristina Chamney was fourth in the 100-metre final with a time of 13.92 seconds, and fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 8.96 metres.
Chamney was also seventh in the 100-metre hurdles final at 18.53 seconds and seventh in long jump at 4.37 metres.
Dryden finished fourth in high jump at 1.44 metres, fifth in the 200-metre final at 29.02 seconds, and seventh in long jump at 4.18 metres.
McKnight had five top-five finishes.
She earned bronze in the 1200-metre event with a time of 3:47.83, fourth in the 800 metres at 2:35.18, and fourth in the 300 metres at 48.10 seconds.
On the track side, McKnight was fourth in long jump at 4.12 metres and fifth in high jump at 1.25 metres.
