The Weyburn Red Wings are 1-3 going into the month of October losing two tough games on the road this past weekend.
The Red Wings fell 4-1 against Nipawin Friday, September 27 with their only goal coming in the third period.
Ty McLean banked the lone goal from Ryan Cooper and Josh Lees.
Saturday, September 28, the Wings travelled to La Ronge to face the Ice Wolves losing 3-1.
Donavon Lumb scored their only goal in the first period from Brian Farkas and Tyler Borstmayer.
The Wings host the Notre Dame Hounds tonight. Puck drops at 7:30 at Crescent Point Place. Saturday, October 5, the Yorkton Terriers will make their second appearance of the season at Crescent Point Place to take on the Wings.
The Wings hit the road again next week to face the Melfort Mustangs on Wednesday, October 9, La Ronge for their second meeting on Thursday, October 10 and Flin Flon to meet the Bombers on Friday, October 11.
