Weyburn Comp Grade 9 player Emersyn Jordens stepped up to hit the birdie just over the net, during a girls doubles match against Estevan on Saturday at the Cugnet Centre. She was playing with partner Emma Kot, part of a one-day badminton tournament for students in Grades 7-9 from schools throughout the southeast area. A second junior high badminton tournament will be held on Saturday, April 13 at the Cugnet Centre.
